Weight Loss Life Coaching

It’s a partnership aimed at getting results. Weight Loss coaching retrains your thinking and behaviour around food, using methods grounding in psychological coaching and counselling techniques.

It helps you to find permanent solutions to your weight issues, so you feel more in control around food and happier with your body.

Weight Loss coaching is suitable for anyone with issues around food. Some of my clients have struggled to control their weight for many years, going on and off diets, losing pounds and then piling them back.

Weight Loss coaching frees them from yo-yo dieting and diet sheets forever.

Weight Loss coaching also helps people who are ‘normal’ weight, but have a difficult relationship with food, for example, those who binge or sometimes feel out of control around food.

Your Weight Loss coach doesn’t give you a diet sheet or lists of ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ foods. Instead, your dieting coach will focus on increasing your awareness of your eating patterns.

You will develop trust in your own ability to recognise what you want to eat, when you want to eat, and how much of it you want to eat.

Everyone’s pattern of eating is different, and the diet coach will help you uncover what works best for you. We begin with an introductory session where you find out more about diet coaching and whether it’s right for you.

We then set up regular sessions, usually weekly, lasting 50 minutes. During sessions we discuss your relationship with food, and in between sessions you may be asked to carry out ‘homework’ tasks.

As a coach I listen without judgement or criticism, and provide you with a confidential service that’s all about helping you find permanent solutions.
